Morning! Lost Property. What can I do for you?

Oh, I really hope you can help. I left my backpack on a train.

Don't worry, it happens all the time. Which train was it?

The 8:15 from Oxford, this morning.

And do you remember where you were sitting?

Um, I think it was carriage D, near the doors.

Okay. Can you describe the bag for me?

It's dark green, with a brown leather strap.

And what was inside?

My laptop! It's got my whole dissertation on it.

Right. Anything else?

Just a blue scarf and a library book.
