Natural-speed English with linking sounds, phrasal verbs and longer sentences.
At the intermediate level the challenge changes. You already know most of the words — the difficulty is hearing them when native speakers talk at a natural pace, join words together and reduce unstressed syllables. These exercises use longer passages about work, study, health, technology and culture to train exactly that.
Play the whole passage once to understand the topic, then work sentence by sentence. Replay difficult parts, type what you hear, and read the correction carefully — every mistake shows you a sound pattern you have not learned yet. Afterwards, shadow the audio: play a sentence and repeat it at the same speed.
When intermediate passages feel comfortable, move on to the Advanced level, or test yourself with exam-style practice in IELTS Listening and TOEIC Listening.
Fifteen to twenty minutes is ideal — about one passage. Regular short sessions work better than one long session a week.
Use it for the hardest sentences only. The goal at this level is to get used to natural speed, so return to 1× as soon as you can.
