A Day in My Life 29: Washing Mrs. Lee's Car

It's a sunny Sunday morning. Oh, Mrs. Lee's car is so dirty! There are leaves on the roof. Her knee hurts today. So she can't wash her car. I can help, Mrs. Lee! I fill a yellow bucket. I add warm water and soap. I take a big sponge, too. First, I wash the roof and windows. There's mud on the wheels! Wow, so many bubbles! Now I turn on the hose. Oops! The water hits my face! Oh no, I'm all wet! Mrs. Lee laughs. I laugh, too. She brings me a cold lemonade. Thank you! It's so good! Mochi watches me from the window. She's dry. I'm not! I dry the car with a towel. Mrs. Lee says it looks new! She starts the car. That's a strange noise. Maybe the car needs a doctor, too!
