Long conversations, passages and lectures in the format of the CET-6 Listening test.
CET-6 (College English Test Band 6) is the higher level of China's College English Test, and you can only take it after passing CET-4. Its listening section is faster and more academic: there are no news reports, and the last part is made up of lectures and talks. These exercises follow the same format — a recording, then the questions read aloud — and you type every sentence you hear.
The speakers talk faster, the vocabulary is closer to B2–C1, and the lectures in Section C present research, examples and arguments in long sentences. The questions often ask about a speaker's opinion or the purpose of an example, not just a fact. Dictation trains you to follow every word of those long sentences, including the linking words that signal the speaker's point.
Play the whole recording once and answer the questions in your head. Then go sentence by sentence and check every mistake. Pay special attention to signposts such as "however", "in other words" and "what this suggests is" — they tell you where the answer is.
If CET-6 feels too hard, start with CET-4 Listening. For more academic talks, try IELTS Listening or the Advanced level.

Most exercises are B2–C1, about the level of the CET-6 itself.
