A year ago, our family decided to produce less rubbish. First, we put three different bins in the kitchen. One was for paper, one for plastic and one for food. We also started taking our own bags to the supermarket. Instead of buying bottled water, we used a filter. At first, the children often forgot which bin to use. But after a few weeks, it became a normal habit. Now we throw away about half as much as before. It feels good to do something small for the planet.
