A Talk on Community Gardens

Thanks for coming to tonight's meeting about our community garden. The garden was set up eight years ago on an empty piece of land. Today it has forty plots, and every one of them is currently in use. Members pay a small yearly fee, which covers water and basic tools. In return, they're expected to help with shared jobs once a month. We also run free workshops on composting and growing vegetables. The waiting list for a plot is currently around six months.
