A Day in My Life 7: Shopping for Groceries

After work, I look in my fridge. Oh no, it's almost empty! I need to go to the supermarket. At the supermarket, I take a basket. First, I go to the fruit and vegetables. I choose some tomatoes and an onion. These apples look really fresh! Next, I need milk and eggs. I check the eggs. None are broken. Good! I put them carefully in my basket. Then I look for spaghetti. Hmm, there are two kinds. Which one is cheaper? This one is cheaper, and it looks good. Near the checkout, I see some chocolate. I don't need it... but I want it! Okay, just one bar. I wait in line at the checkout. The cashier scans my things. "That's twenty-three dollars, please." I pay by card and say thank you. I put everything in my own bag. I walk home with dinner in my hands. Tonight, I'm going to cook spaghetti!
