My First Job Interview

I had my first job interview when I was twenty-two.

我第一次求職面試是在二十二歲的時候。

The night before, I could not sleep at all.

前一天晚上，我完全睡不著。

I read about the company and practised my answers.

我閱讀了這家公司的資料，並練習了我的回答。

In the morning, I put on my best shirt and left early.

早上，我穿上最好的襯衫，很早就出門了。

The manager asked me why I wanted the job.

經理問我為什麼想要這份工作。

I told her that I loved working with people.

我告訴她，我很喜歡和人一起工作。

She also asked about my biggest weakness.

她也問到我最大的弱點。

I said that I sometimes worry too much about small details.

我說我有時候會過度擔心小細節。

A week later, she called to offer me the job.

一週後，她打電話來，提供我這份工作。
