Learning to Cook

Last week, I cooked dinner for the first time.

上星期，我第一次煮了晚餐。

My mother showed me what to do.

First, we washed the vegetables.

Then I cut the onions and carrots.

The onions made me cry.

We cooked the chicken in a big pan.

After forty minutes, the food was ready.

My family said it was delicious.

Now I want to cook every week.
